This fall, immerse yourself in the crisp beauty of apple season at Trump Cidery’s Pick-Your-Own Orchard Experience—a new tradition that celebrates craftsmanship, community, and the heart of Virginia agriculture.
All guests should check in at the Trump Cidery Tasting Room, located at 3550 Blenheim Rd, Charlottesville, VA. Our friendly staff will provide your picking materials and guide you to the orchard.
Our pick-your-own season is expected to begin the second week of September, depending on ripeness and weather conditions. Picking continues into late October while supplies last.
We offer peck-sized picking bags only for the 2025 season. Each peck holds approximately 10–12 lbs of apples (roughly 30 apples, depending on variety and size).

She will be on-site to guide you through a special tasting of four Trump wines and will discuss the effect the varietal-specific glasses have on their aromas and taste.
Each ticket includes a tasting of 2016 Blanc de Noir, 2021 Sauvignon Blanc, 2019 Chardonnay Reserve, and 2017 New World Reserve along with some light bites. The set of the four Riedel glasses showcased during the event is yours to take home – a $138 value!

Trump Winery presents Three Notch'd Road: The Virginia Baroque Ensemble featuring a period instrument performance by Fiona Hughes on the baroque violin and Adam Cockerham on the lute and theorbo. Join us for a rare opportunity to enjoy live music in our gorgeous Chapel.
The program will feature Heinrich Biber's (1644-1704) mystery sonatas alongside the well-known "Sonata Representativa," in which instruments imitate the sound of birds, frogs, cats, and other animals.
The concert will be performed at 6:00pm on Friday, May 13th, and will feature a Q & A with the musicians following the performance. Concertgoers will also enjoy exclusive after-hours access to our Tasting Room until 6:00pm where they can enjoy our seasonal menu and award-winning wines as the sun sets over the vineyards.
Named for a colonial route through central Virginia, Three Notch’d Road: The Virginia Baroque Ensemble specializes in the performance of historical repertoires from both sides of the Atlantic. Their musicianship is founded on a vigorous historical approach, offering little-known music of the baroque as well as incisive performances of well-known favorites.
Three Notch’d Road has appeared at the Waterford Concert Series, the Ewell Concert Series at The College of William & Mary, Shenandoah University’s Bach-Handel Festival, the Boston Early Music Festival Fringe Concert Series, and the Tuesday Concert Series at Church of the Epiphany in Washington, DC. They have collaborated twice with the University of Virginia Chamber Singers under the direction of Michael Slon, most recently in a concert version of Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas. In 2016, Three Notch’d Road was featured on the prestigious Music at Dumbarton Oaks concert series, and in 2013, they presented the music of Salamone Rossi at the Italian Embassy (both in Washington, DC).

Joseph will discuss how Trump Winery’s terroir shapes the quality and flavor of our award-winning wines, as well as the past and future of our grape harvest and wine production. Guests 21 and older will sample four different wines made from the grapes in the vineyard blocks they walk through on the tour and learn about the Vine to Wine process as the sun sets over the Blue Ridge Mountains.
The walking tour will be approximately one mile long and will include varied surfaces and inclines in addition to standing for extended periods of time. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress accordingly for the weather.
The tour is limited to 25 guests and will be departing at 6:00pm.

For the first time, the Virginia Wineries Association will be holding a Governor’s Cup tasting for Virginia Wine fans on Thursday, April 29th from 6:30-8:30pm.
The program will begin with tasting the Best in Show Cider and light refreshments. Enjoy a sampling of hors d'oeuvres, including miniature chicken and waffles, crostini with goat cheese and mushrooms, a caprese skewer, prosciutto wrapped cantaloupe wedge, and a BLT tea sandwich.
Once guests are settled, we will begin the virtual tasting program of the 12 Governor’s Cup Case wines, including Trump Winery's 2014 Sparkling Reserve, using a souvenir logoed Riedel glass. Jay Youmans, Master of Wine and judging director for the competition, will serve as host and moderator.
